Yes! We will do our absolute best to get you into a vehicle, regardless of your past credit history. Things happen and that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t drive a vehicle you deserve. The Capital Chevrolet Finance Team will work with the banks and our in-house finance team to get you into a reliable car, truck, or SUV. We will secure you a loan with affordable payments to help you build your credit back up. If you’ve suffered from bad credit because of bankruptcy or divorce, or if your credit is too new, we can help you drive away happy!

How can I pay for a vehicle?
Most of our customers opt to finance a vehicle; we provide options to obtain car loans through major national banks, credit unions, in-house financing, or leasing through General Motors. If you want to finance a vehicle, we will apply through the banks on your behalf in order to obtain the lowest interest rate possible. We do accept cash and credit card, or bank draft, if you prefer. The decision is up to you!
I am still paying for a vehicle I bought before, can you pay that off?
We can help with that! In order to make it work, we will add the remainder of your other car loan to the new loan. So your new loan will be the new vehicle loan plus the remainder of the old loan. That way, the lien is paid off and you’re only responsible for one car payment, instead of two.
Can I trade in my car?
YES! We are always looking for good trade-in vehicles. We will give you an honest and fair trade value whether you wish to apply it towards your purchase or simply want to sell your vehicle to us outright. If you’re interested, you can get a rough value through our Trade Gauge tool.
Do I need to leave a deposit on a vehicle?
No, but we do recommend it if you’re in love with a vehicle and need time to make a final decision. Some vehicles are highly sought after and may be someone else’s dream car as well. A deposit guarantees you have first choice on that vehicle.
How will I know the vehicle’s history?
We won’t hide anything about the vehicle – transparency is one of our main goals. We have vehicle history and CarProof reports available to us for newer models, so you’ll know if the vehicle was traded, leased, rented, damaged (and reported), and even in-service dates if we have them. We can’t guarantee such detailed records on older models, however, as some owners may use private businesses or do work on their own. We do our best to provide you with all the information we have.
I’m ready to buy. What is my next step?
Excellent! We’re happy to help find the vehicle and payment plan that’s best for you. In order to begin, the best option is to complete our Pre-Approval form if you want to lease or finance. This will give us an indication of your price range and we can begin working for you with the banks. You get to enjoy the fun part: test drives! Our Product Specialists will help you find the vehicle you’re interested in and you can get a feel for the vehicle itself; how it drives, the seats, the technology, and more! (Tip: take it home and make sure it fits in the garage! If you have car seats or sports equipment, make sure it will work for your lifestyle.)
If you find the vehicle you love, our Finance Managers will discuss the loan options with you, including payment amount, frequency, and terms. They will also help you with extended warranty, roadside assistance, insurance, and more. If you have more questions, we are excited to help you get started.
